BLUE RIDGE MOUNTAINS
Much of the Blue Ridge Range is made up of the Appalachian Mountains. The Appalachians are a series of mountains from Maine to Alabama, and include some of the following states: New Hampshire, Vermont, Massachusetts, Conneticutt, New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Maryland, West Virginia, Virginia, North & South Carolina, Tennessee, and Georgia.
The Gateway to the Blue Ridge Mountains is in Fannin County, GA. The Blue Ridge Range runs from that point, north and east to South-Central Pennsylvania and include both the high peaks of the Shennandoahs to the rolling hills in the south-west part of Virginia.
